How it works

In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Data Controls → Export Data. You'll get an email like this with a .zip file to download.

Open Terminal (press ⌘ Space and type "Terminal"), paste the command above, and hit Enter. Dialogs will guide you through the rest.

Ask Claude anything — "find my conversation about X" — and it will search your history.
